sautéed apples cinnamon pumpkin overnight oats

the crunchy walnuts, soft sautéed apples, & spicy cinnamon will make a scrumptious autumn breakfast for you this Monday!


(serves 4 & takes 15 minutes)

ingredients

7 tablespoons butter

4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cut into ½" pieces

2 tbsp brown sugar

¾ tbsp honey

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp pure maple syrup

a pinch of salt

overnight oats, (this is the best!)

walnuts & raisins, for serving (optional)

procedure

1. in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook 3 tbsp butter for 3 minutes. add apples & sauté 9 minutes. mix in sugar, honey, & ¼ tsp cinnamon.

2. in a small bowl, combine 4 tbsp butter, ¾ tsp cinnamon, maple syrup, & salt.

3. serve overnight oats into bowls & top with sautéed apples, cinnamon butter, & other desired toppings like walnuts & raisins.
