(makes 4 servings & takes 10 minutes) ingredients 2 tbsp unsalted butter3 tbsp blanched sliced almonds1/8 tsp fleur de sel1/3 cup pure maple syrup2 cups ricotta2 tbsp honey1 tsp vanilla extract2 cups mixed berries, such as blackberries & strawberries1 baguette, sliced & toasted procedure1. melt butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat. stir in almonds, tossing frequently for 3 minutes until almonds are golden brown. 2. sprinkle almonds with fleur de sel & add maple syrup. keep almond mixture warm. 3. meanwhile, combine ricotta, honey, & vanilla. divide ricotta mixture among serving plates. 4. surround ricotta mixture with berries & spoon almond mixture over ricotta mixture. 5. place a few slices of baguette on each plate. enjoy!
