pear biscuits

so delicious: the soft pears let out their sweet juices into the biscuits. so easy: only takes 20 minutes.

(makes 24 & takes 20 minutes)


2 cups + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

12 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1½ cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 pear, cored & diced


1. preheat oven to 325°F. in a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, & cinnamon. in a large bowl, cream butter & sugar. add egg & vanilla. add in dry ingredient mixture. fold in diced pears.

2. on parchment-lined baking sheets, make rounds of dough. bake 15 minutes.
