maple cinnamon toast with oranges

the spice of the cinnamon with the citrus of the orange & the fresh creamy feel of the crème fraîche create the most scrumptious breakfast!

(serves 4 & takes 15 minutes)


1 navel orange, thinly sliced

2 tbsp sugar

½ cup unsalted butter

1¼ tsp ground cinnamon

flaky sea salt

4 tbsp maple syrup

4 slices brioche

1 cup crème fraîche


1. preheat oven to 450°F. in a small bowl, place oranges & sugar. in a medium bowl, combine butter, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, & 2 tbsp maple syrup. spread cinnamon butter on one side of each piece of bread. on a rimmed baking sheet (butter-side down) & toast in oven, 8 minutes.

2. place each toast (butter-side down) on plates. dollop with crème fraîche & orange slices. drizzle maple syrup.
