cinnamon oatmeal smoothie

welcome to autumn, or rather sweater weather. begin bundling up with a scarf & fuzzy socks & prepare to feel the brisk & energizing breeze outside. to celebrate this invigorating weather on this MNDAY morning, drink a delicious cinnamon oatmeal smoothie & fill your soul with the autumn coziness.

(makes 4 & takes 18 minutes)

ingredients

4 cups milk (I used this one, a tasty protein-rich plant-based milk)

1 cup water

1 cup rolled oats

1 cinnamon stick

procedure

1. heat a pan over medium heat & mix in the milk, water, oats, & cinnamon stick. cook, stirring constantly, until the oats are soft, about 10 minutes.

2. take the cinnamon stick out of the mixture, & pour the oatmeal into the blender. blend until smooth, & serve into each of 4 glasses.
