the woody cherries, earthy thyme, & sweet honey will make for a delicious breakfast yogurt bowl on this Monday morning!
(serves 4 & takes 10 minutes)
1 pound fresh cherries, pits removed (or 1 lb frozen cherries, thawed)
3 3"x1" lime zest stripes
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1½ cups plain yogurt
3 tbsp fresh thyme honey
pinch of kosher salt
1. in a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring cherries, lime zest, & sugar to a simmer. cook 8 minutes. remove lime zest.
2. meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix yogurt, thyme honey, & salt. divide into 4 bowls & top with compote.
