banana hemp granola

we cannot figure out which is better, the pre-bake or the baked banana hemp granola; both are so rich & delicious. make the scrumptious granola this MNDAY morning, & let us know which you like better in the comments!


(serves 4 & takes 60 minutes)

ingredients

2 ripe bananas, mashed

6 medjool dates, pitted

¼ cup unsweetened almond butter

¼ tsp sea salt

3 cups rolled oats

½ cup hemp seeds

milk, such as almond or coconut milk, for serving

chopped fresh fruit, for serving

procedure

1. preheat oven to 300° F. line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. place bananas, dates, almond butter, & salt in a blender & purée until smooth.

3. in a large bowl, mix the oats & hemp seeds. mix in the banana mixture & stir until combined.

4. spread this mixture on the baking sheet & bake for 30 minutes. after the 30 minutes, using a spatula, flip the granola & continuing baking for 20 minutes longer.

5. let cool & serve with your favorite toppings, such as coconut or almond milk & chopped fresh fruit.
